This bolt-action Mosin-Nagant M1944 carbine is a nice little bit of work.
It fires the Russian 7.62x54R cartridge, which is almost but not quite as beefy
as an 8mm mauser round. This particular Mosin-Nagant came from Romania, if I'm
not mistaken. Note the distinctive spiked bayonet. The thing looks like a
cross between a crowbar, a digging bar, and a flat-tipped screwdriver. Pretty
interesting little piece of hardware.
