Temporary Fix for Lightheartgear Duo
This part attaches to the crown of the tent by the velcro strip. Two hiking poles are used for supports. The handles of the hiking poles rest on the edge of the tent floor and the tips of the poles are inserted into the holes located at each end of the center tube. The purpose of the tube is to keep the poles separted and ridged in the crown. Further to keep the tips of the poles from touching the fabric of the tent and tearing it.

The awnings are staked on both front and back. The back awning may be be short in length. The front awning can be tied straight out to a tree or staked at a 45 degree angle. During a storm the bottom loops can be attached to shorten the width of the awning and close it up.
