They were being replaced, so they were completely free; I just had to come pick them up. Of course, I was quite interested in that offer and agreed.My original plan had involved bungee cords and three trips between Del Mar and my place, with my Pathfinder. My friend Don was actually up for the trip, so instead of three Pathfinder runs, we wound up making two runs in his pickup truck. The racks are in now, and they're quite large. I still haven't taken pictures of them, but for the time being they're piled in my reading room and making it almost un-enterable. Update (4-15-05): One rack down, two to go. |
